  • Summary of Position

    The Department of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine has an immediate need for a board certified non-invasive cardiologist to join its community based practice at Temple Health’s Jeanes Hospital. The scope of clinical service will include but is not limited to outpatient office practice and inpatient services such as CICU, primary cardiology service and inpatient consults. Academic activities include but are not limited to teaching medical students, residents and fellows. It is preferred that applicants have training in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology and must in possession of or eligible to receive an unrestricted PA State Medical License.

    • An M.D. or D.O. with active board certification Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Cardiology.

    • Residency and fellowship training from ACGME accredited programs is strongly preferred.

    • Possess credentials for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor.

    • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

    • Demonstrate sensitivity to the culture, needs, and aspirations of the community.
