ED Administrative Fellowship

The Department of Emergency at Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM), announces the search for a BC/BE emergency medicine physician appointed at the rank of instructor for a one to two year administrative fellowship.
The administrative fellowship was designed for those with an interest in operations and administration who would like to take their leadership and administrative skills to the next level. 1 or 2-year programs will be offered, depending on the addition of an optional MBA through the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University. This fellowship will provide training in departmental and hospital operations, administration, financing, staffing, performance and quality improvement, and medicolegal aspects of emergency medicine. The administrative fellow will also work clinically in one or more of Temple’s emergency rooms and serve as an interim Assistant Medical Director at Temple University Hospital or the Episcopal Campus under the guidance of the ED Medical Directors and Fellowship Directors. The administrative fellow also will complete one or more projects relating to departmental operations at either Temple University Hospital or at the Episcopal Campus, based on his or her areas of interest.
