    Summary of Opportunity


    The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) is seeking a full-time BE/BC otolaryngologist with interests in rhinology and/or facial plastics & reconstructive surgery to join its growing academic faculty. 


    The successful candidate will be joining an exceptional otolaryngology program steeped in history dating back to the early 1900’s when Dr. Chevalier Jackson emerged as the “father of endoscopy”, pioneering the field of laryngology to include foreign body removal.  This innovative spirit, dedication to clinical excellence, commitment to teaching, and pursuit of knowledge continues in the Department today.  Our faculty spans the entire depth and breadth of the field to include head and neck surgery, laryngology, otology, neurotology, skull base surgery, rhinology, allergy, sleep medicine, facial plastics & reconstructive surgery as well as pediatric otolaryngology. Many are recognized as national and international experts in their respective subspecialty.  Together Temple Otolaryngology provides personalized, compassionate, and cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary care to patients and their families. 

    The successful candidate will be an MD, MD/PhD, DO or foreign equivalent with board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.  Qualified applicants must possess qualifications for a faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor.  A strong commitment to patient care, resident and medical student education, as well as clinical research is required.
