Principal Faculty Opportunity – Physician Assistant Program
The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking qualified candidates for a faculty opportunity in our Physician Assistant Program.
The faculty member will serve as course director and will develop, coordinate and deliver curriculum as assigned. Core responsibilities include teaching and advising physician assistant students as well as assisting with curriculum development with appropriate learning objectives and outcomes in collaboration with the PA Program Director and other PA program faculty. Our Faculty also participate in small group exercises, labs, participate in the admissions process and conduct scholarly activities. This position includes teaching and administration in both the didactic and clinical phases with an emphasis on didactic activities. Other duties include advising and mentoring students, and evaluation of students and curriculum in accordance with the accreditation process.
Faculty members in our Physician Assistant Program are provided with one day per week for clinical practice in the Temple Health System. Academic rank commensurate with experience.
