The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking a full-time BE/BC otolaryngologist specializing in laryngology to join its growing academic faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Candidates will be an MD, DO or foreign equivalent and possess board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

A strong commitment to patient care, resident and medical student education, as well as clinical research is required.  The candidate will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary Temple Voice, Airway, and Swallowing Center which serves a robust and ever-growing patient population with speech and dysphagia needs.  In addition, the position affords excellent opportunities for programmatic builds.

The successful candidate will be joining an exceptional otolaryngology program steeped in history dating back to the early 1900’s when Dr. Chevalier Jackson emerged as the “father of endoscopy”, pioneering the field of laryngology to include foreign body removal.  This innovative spirit, dedication to clinical excellence, commitment to teaching, and pursuit of knowledge continues in the Department today.  Our faculty spans the entire depth and breadth of the field to include head and neck surgery, laryngology, otology, neurotology, skull base surgery, rhinology, allergy, sleep medicine, facial plastics & reconstructive surgery as well as pediatric otolaryngology. Many are recognized as national and international experts in their respective subspecialty.  Together Temple Otolaryngology provides personalized, compassionate, and cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary care to patients and their families.

Temple Health, one of Philadelphia's leading academic medical centers, is home to more than 1,000 physicians and scientists who share the mission of bringing innovative treatments to patients.

Giving our patients access to some of the world's most advanced therapies — and helping them achieve outcomes once thought impossible — is the driving force for all our clinical care, research, and medical education.
