The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is currently seeking an Academic Geriatrician to join our growing team. The selected candidate will have outstanding clinical skills, be flexible and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary staff to build and develop new programs.   Our geriatricians currently provide a comprehensive inpatient consultation service and the group will embark on a new inpatient co-management program at Temple University Hospital this fall. Other potential future initiatives include the establishment of Mobile ACE service, care transition programs, outpatient consultative and primary care geriatric clinics. Training/work experience in these programs is a plus, especially co-management services, as well as experience/training in palliative care.   The position requires a strong interest in teaching including bedside and didactic teaching and resident supervision. The Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine (LKSOM) is seeking a fellowship trained Trauma, Critical Care Surgeon to join its team oriented faculty. The successful applicant will provide state-of-the-art care for the critically injured throughout all phases of recovery at Temple University Hospital (TUH), a 746-bed tertiary facility Level I trauma center located adjacent to the Medical School on the Health Science Campus. Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM), Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive announces the search for a MFM physician to join the section.   The selected individual will be a member of a clinical team of perinatologists who serve as consultants for all high risk obstetrical patients within the Temple University Health System and will conduct non-invasive and invasive fetal evaluations and studies. In addition, the selected individual will have an active clinical practice as well as having teaching responsibilities to medical students and residents (21 residents in PGY I, II, III and IV). Research and mentorship are part of this position.     The Division of Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine is one of five clinical divisions including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Women’s Pelvic Health Program, Reproductive Endocrinology and Gynecologic Oncology. There are approximately 30 MDs or MD/PhDs in the department plus supporting administrative, nursing and research staff. Qualified candidates will have completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship and obtained Board Certification in OB/GYN and MFM. Active candidates for board certification(s) will also be considered.  Candidates must have a strong interest in working in an Academic environment. The selected individual must also have the ability to obtain a license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine announces the search for a board-certified Surgical Pathologist (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) to become a part of our faculty. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in general surgical pathology in an environment that has provided the opportunity to experience a wide spectrum of gross and microscopic examination of surgical specimens, as well as biopsies. A niche area in surgical pathology for example GYN, head/neck, breast pathology or soft tissue pathology is preferred. Candidates with several years of professional work experience are desirable but, not required. Qualified candidate who can contribute through their research, teaching and/or service to the diversity and excellence of the academic mission of the department are also preferable.  The Department of Pathology receives over 17,000 surgical specimens, (excluding nearly 10,000 oral specimens), 4000 cytology specimens, 100 autopsies, and performs over 1.8 million laboratory tests in a typical year. Special diagnostic testing includes immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, molecular diagnostics, electron microscopy, and whole slide imaging.
